About Naomi

Hosting the Helen Hayes Award

Naomi Jacobson is a Washington, DC based actress working all over the country. A Woolly Mammoth Company member and an Affiliated Artist with The Shakespeare Theatre Company, her dedication to her craft and her ability to embody a diverse range of characters have solidified her reputation as a leading actress in contemporary and classical theatre.

A prominent figure in the D.C. theater community, receiving 3 Helen Hayes Awards, numerous nominations and the inaugural Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship with Lynn Redgrave, she has contributed to NPR, PBS, the Discovery Channel, the Smithsonian as a Voice Over artist, and is a narrator of audio books.

Naomi has been teaching and developing classes and workshops for over 20 years. She was instrumental in creating Actors Arena at Arena Stage, a forum for growth and development for professional actors. Her coaching extends to Business Professionals with specialized techniques for Public Speaking and Presentations.
